PRISTINA, March 26 (Hina) - One hundred forty-five Albanian prisoners who were imprisoned in Serb prisons were on Tuesday transferred to Kosovo. Seven Albanian prisoners, however, expressed wish to remain in Serb prisons for the rest
of their sentences. Serb authorities handed over the prisoners to representatives of the UN Mission to Kosovo. This is the last group of Albanian prisoners returned to Kosovo from Serb prisons, where at least 2,300 Albanians were kept since 1999. Kosovo senior officials on Tuesday dismissed any possibility of Serb prisoners to be transferred from Kosovo prisons to prisons in Serbia. (hina) lml
