GENEVA, March 7 (Hina) - Representatives of seven Croation ministries on Wednesday and Thursday presented Croatia's fifth periodical report to the UN committee on the elimination of racial discrimination. The delegation was headed by
Assistant Justice Minister Lidija Lukina Karajkovic. The report speaks about Croatia's implementation of provisions of an international convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, the Croatian permanent mission at the UN in Geneva reported Thursday. The committee also received information from Croatian, Yugoslav and international non-governmental organisations. Since Croatia had such a presentation before the UN committee in 1998, several committee members commended Croatia's headway in areas relevant to the convention and the carrying out of the committee's recommendations.
