ZAGREB, March 7 (Hina) - Minimal living expenses of a four-member family in February stayed nearly the same as in January, according to a consumer goods basket of the Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (NHS). Costs are highest in
Dubrovnik and lowest in Zagreb. Minimal expenses for food, hygiene, clothing, accommodation, transport and culture reached 7,265 kuna in Dubrovnik and 6,664 kuna in Zagreb. The basket excludes the costs of education, personal care, health, vacation and sport activities. The costs of culture, transport and clothing in February remained the same as in January, while the cost of food on average dropped by 0.33 percent and of hygiene by three percent. Accommodation costs rose by 0.4 percent due to a change in exchange rate exclusively for families renting a flat. As the 1991 census showed the average Croatian household consisted of 3.1 persons, NHS also calculated the consumer
