ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic on Tuesday relieved of duty the head of a detention centre in Pozega, Marijo Vcelik, and his assistant Vesna Vlasic, for approving, without psychiatric evaluation, a
daily leave for Srdjan Mladjan, a convicted two-time murderer. Before being arrested in Zagreb on Monday evening, Mladjan killed a police officer, Milenko Vranjkovic, 40, in the capital. Mladjan was serving a ten-year sentence for two murders. He was granted daily leave on Feb. 16. An arrest warrant was issued after he failed to come back by 10 p.m.(hina) np/ha
