PODGORICA, Feb 18 (Hina) - The chief of a Montenegrin team of experts in charge of settling the Prevlaka issue disagrees with colleagues from Croatia as to the demarcation of the Montenegrin-Croatian border, particularly at sea, and
has announced another meeting on the matter later this month. Montenegro cannot accept Croatia's demand to base the border at sea on the existing land border, Nebojsa Vucinic said on Sunday, stressing the Croatian demand was "absolutely unacceptable" for Montenegro. "We have no territorial aspirations towards Croatia but we won't allow any territorial aspirations towards Montenegro and its legitimate interests," he said referring to security, navigation, tourism, and fishing. Croatia and Montenegro are expected to resume expert talks on the bordering peninsula of Prevlaka later this or early next week, Vucinic said.(hina) ha
