ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - Investigators with the office of the UN war crimes tribunal's chief prosecutor took over 806 documents referring to the Pocket of Medak operation from the Croatian government over the last two days, the
government's public relations office said on Tuesday. According to unofficial information, these documents are not crucial for the resolution of the case of Croatian General Rahim Ademi, but Carla del Ponte's office demanded them maintaining they can help in shedding light on the events in question. A decision on the temporary release of Ademi from custody at The Hague is expected this week. Ademi surrendered to the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, which charges him with war crimes committed against Croatian Serb civilians during the Pocket of Medak operation of 1993.(hina) ha sb
