LJUBLJANA, Feb 11 (Hina) - Slovenia has still not received an official answer on its offer for bilateral consultations with Croatia within the World Trade Organisation in connection with contentious corridors for the transport of oil
and its products by Croatian roads, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel has said. "We expect the contentious measures will be revoked as soon as possible," Rupel told reporters in Ljubljana on Monday. The Slovene Foreign Ministry said last week it could not consent to a meeting at which the transit measures would be "explained" but expected their revocation. If the bilateral consultations within the WTO fall through, Slovenia will take the case to international institutions and seek compensation for the damage the Croatian measures have cause to its economy, the ministry said.(hina) ha sb
