BELGRADE, Feb 11 (Hina) - After the Croatian Parliament ratified the agreement on social insurance between Croatia and Yugoslavia, a very few procedural moves were left to finally start the payment of pensions to Croatian pensioners
in Yugoslavia and Yugoslav pensioners in Croatia, Yugoslav Assistant Federal Secretary for Labour, Maksim Korac, told Belgrade's daily "Blic" in it's Monday's issue. According to the Federal Secretariat for Labour, 4,000 pensioners who realised their rights to a pension in Yugoslavia, lived in Croatia. Around 7,000 pensioners who realised their rights to a pension in Croatia, live in Yugoslavia. Among refugees in Yugoslavia, registered are between 30,000 and 35,000 Croat pensioners who retired before the war in 1991, and as yet an unestimated number of refugees from Croatia have realised their rights to a pension in the meantime.(hina) lml sb
