BELGRADE, Feb 5 (Hina) - Regardless of the outcome of talks on Yugoslavia's future, Serbia and Montenegro will "always stay friends" and will not resolve their relations through force, Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic said after the
World Economic Forum wrapped up in New York on Tuesday. Djindjic advocated the preservation of some kind of federation, saying the break-up of Yugoslavia could cause "an undesirable chain reaction in the region". Djindjic said it was necessary to stop disintegration processes on the Balkans and impose an integration approach aimed at harmonisation with the world trends of globalisation, cooperation and decreased importance of borders. He expressed hope for the establishment of a Balkan economic union within several years.(hina) np
