ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - The existing farming incentives will not be reduced because the government has dropped its proposal on the reduction of incentives for around a dozen crops, Agriculture Minister Bozidar Pankretic said. The
minister said the government and the ministry had accepted objections presented by parliamentary deputies and tried to internally reallocate the ministry's funds. The government's proposal on the reduction of incentives for a dozen crops, including wheat, corn, sunflower, and sugar beet, as well as for freshwater fishery, yesterday caused a heated debate in parliament and even divisions in the ruling coalition.
