MOSTAR, Jan 31 (Hina) - A special unit of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Border Service (DGS) officially took over the security service of the Mostar airport Ortijes on Thursday, which until now was secured by the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton
police. The 36-member multinational unit will contribute to Bosnia-Herzegovina's fight against international terrorism and illegal migrations, it was said at a ceremony at the airport. A special representative of the UN Secretary-General in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jacques Paul Klein, said the Bosnian state border service played an important role in the international fight against terrorism, women slavery and illegal immigrants.
