BRUSSELS, Jan 28 (Hina) - The Council of Ministers of the European Union in Brussels on Monday approved an interim agreement between the EU and Croatia which on January 1st activated the trading and traffic provisions of the
Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA). EU institutions also ended the ratification process of the agreement, which officially comes into force March 1. The Council will consider the SAA in about two years' time after all 15 EU member countries ratify the agreement. Dialogue between the EU and Croatia on the SAA implementation continues this week with a visit by the Croatian European Integration Minister Neven Mimica to Brussels on Thursday and Friday. He will discuss the SAA's implementation with representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission. The adjustment of the Croatian judiciary to the Acquis Communautaire will be a particular focus of the talks.(
