KUTINA, Jan 11 (Hina) - A 10% decrease in gas consumption by other users could enable Petrokemija, the producer of mineral fertilisers from Kutina, to re-start the production of mineral fertilisers, which are necessary for the spring
sowing, the head of the company's management board, Boris Mesaric, said Friday. Mesaric today informed reporters about two-day talks that took place at the Croatian oil company INA and the government. Currently, INA can supply Petrokemija only with 40,000 cubic metres of gas per hour, Mesaric said, adding the company needed another 20,000 cubic metres of gas. Petrokemija stopped the production of mineral fertilisers on December 10 last year due to lack of gas.
