ZAGREB, Dec 23 (Hina) - The Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) has said in a statement that its Governing Council unanimously appointed Ivan Cehok acting president of the party at a session held late Monday night.

The Council decided that HSLS members of parliament would support the
new government and that they would form a joint club of parliamentary
deputies with the Democratic Centre (DC) party which would be headed
by Djurdja Adlesic.
