Only three EU member states are yet to ratify the SAA with Croatia.
The ratification process in Italy is nearing the end, while Great
Britain and the Netherlands have made the ratification conditional on
the extradition of retired Croatian Army General Ante Gotovina to the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The
Hague.
