ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Crafts (HOK) trade guild has said it is unpleasantly surprised at IMF mission head Hans Flickenschild's opposition to the ban on the work of shops on Sundays.

According to the guild, Flickenschild's position brings into question
a decision of the lawmakers of a sovereign country and is a clear
indicator that he sides with big capital, whose interests the guild
regards as being in opposition to the interests of trade in Croatia.
The guild insists on the consistent implementation of the new law on
trade, with some adjustments which should be made at the beginning of
the new government's term, said the guild's head, Boris Vukelic.
