The HHO Media Council said in a statement that "the shortage of
facts is being compensated with a surplus of ideological
platitudes, sick words, label mongering, insinuations, incitement
to inter-ethnic hatred and poorly concealed threats to
politicians, journalists and other public figures".
The HHO cited the Fokus weekly as the most evident example of such
journalism, but stressed it was not an isolated case.
