SARAJEVO, Dec 15 (Hina) - Bosnian Foreign Minister Mladen Ivanic on Monday welcomed the arrest of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, saying it would help strengthen democracy in Iraq.

"The arrest will help stabilise the situation in Iraq as well as
contribute to eliminating dictatorial regimes elsewhere in the
world," Ivanic said at a news conference in Sarajevo.
Asked whether it was now time to finally bring to justice Bosnian
Serb war-time leader Radovan Karadzic as well, Ivan said this was
undoubtedly the only remaining major political issue in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
