demography, Alica Wertheimer-Baletic, was presented with the
"Annales Pilar" award on Thursday for her contribution to the
development of demography as a science. #L#
The award was presented in Zagreb by the director of the "Ivo Pilar"
Institute of Social Sciences, Vladimir Sakic, at a symposium on the
demographic situation in Croatia.
Wertheimer-Baletic is a member of the Croatian Academy of Arts and
Sciences.
