"The Musical Chairs" deals with child abuse in a surrealistic
manner, the main characters being five children and one ominous
clown with an antique record player. The film received awards at
more than 30 festivals.
A special award went to Alexander Sokurov of Russia for the film
"The Russian Arc", a 96-minute story of Russian history, which
opened the festival.
The One Take Film Festival featured 35 films, ranging from
documentaries and feature films to experimental films.
This is the first international film festival of its kind.
