The UN civil administrator of Kosovo, Harri Holkeri, on Wednesday
suspended the 12 officers for six months pending the completion of
an investigation into their possible connections with the Albanian
National Army (AN), which the UN mission has declared a terrorist
organisation.
At Thursday's meeting, which was also attended by Kosovo premier
Bajram Rexepi, KZK commander General Agim Qeku offered his
resignation, but it was rejected.
The KZK Command said that the decision on suspension was
unfounded.
