KARLOVAC, Dec 2 (Hina) - Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) secretary-general Branko Vukelic told reporters in Karlovac on Tuesday he believed that the HDZ's government would not be a minority government, because "the party which has the
majority in parliament will form a stable government".

The news conference in Karlovac was addressed by the newly elected
parliamentary deputies from the HDZ slate in constituency no. 7,
party secretary Vukelic and Ogulin mayor Ivan Vucic.
The election results proved wrong the theory that the HDZ enjoys the
support only of the rural population, Vukelic said.
