of the vote in 11 constituencies at Sunday's parliamentary election, according to the State Electoral Commission's unofficial results at 1500 hours on Monday. The HDZ's results range from nearly 49 percent in constituency no. 9, which covers Lika-Senj, Zadar, Sibenik-Knin counties and northern Split-Dalmatia County, to 18.53 percent -- the party's poorest placing -- in constituency no. 8, which covers Istria County and western Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, where the HDZ nonetheless ranked second. In constituency no. 11, where emigrants voted, the HDZ has won 56.61 percent of the vote.
