VINKOVCI, Nov 21 (Hina) - The first international conference on the solving of conflicts started in the eastern Croatian town of Vinkovci on Friday. The two-day conference is organised by the Trade Union of Croatian Education (SOOH)
which operates as part of the Federation of the Independent Trade Unions of Croatia.

solving of conflicts started in the eastern Croatian town of
Vinkovci on Friday. The two-day conference is organised by the
Trade Union of Croatian Education (SOOH) which operates as part of
the Federation of the Independent Trade Unions of Croatia. #L#
The conference is aimed at promoting relations of Croatian and Serb
union members in order to strengthen their union power in the fight
for the protection of mutual goals, SOOH president Anita Car said at
the start of the conference.
Apart from SOOH members from eastern Slavonia, the conference is
also attended by representatives of similar unions from Germany and
the Netherlands, who financially assisted the event, and Nicholas
Richards, chief coordinator of the International Education
Federation with has some 28 million members.
