Initiative (CEI), the last before the next EU expansion round,
started in Warsaw on Thursday. The two-day meeting will focus on the

The summit started with a meeting between the host, Prime Minister
Leszek Miller, and his colleagues from Hungary, Albania, Ukraine,
Moldavia, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia,
Belarus, Bulgaria and Serbia-Montenegro, the news agency AFP has
reported.
The meeting was also attended by Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister
Ivan Simonovic, who is heading a state delegation.
The prime ministers of Italy, Austria, Romania and Bosnia-
Herzegovina are expected to arrive in Warsaw during the night or on
Friday morning.
The summit is taking place simultaneously with a CEI economic
forum, which is attended by some 1,500 state officials, business
people and representatives of various international financial
organisations and agencies.
