HR-BULLETIN-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 5133 HINA Zagreb 10 November 2003HDZ AGAIN CONDEMNS INCIDENT IN IMOTSKI, REACTION BY SDP LEADERSZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) on Sunday night slammed statements by senior officials of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) about yesterday's attack on SDP officials at an election rally in the southern town of Imotski, describing them as imputations introducing harsh words in the election campaign. Speaking at an election rally yesterday, SDP leader Ivica Racan said that the HDZ and its leader Ivo Sanader were responsible for yesterday's assault on SDP candidates Slavko Linic and Marin Jurjevic in Imotski. Racan said that Linic and Jurjevic had not only eggs thrown at them, but glasses as well. He added Linic left the scene of the accident with a bloody head and that the attackers were prevented from injuring him with an ashtray.
