Speaking at an election rally yesterday, SDP leader Ivica Racan said that the HDZ and its leader Ivo Sanader were responsible for yesterday's assault on SDP candidates Slavko Linic and Marin Jurjevic in Imotski. Racan said that Linic and Jurjevic had not only eggs thrown at them, but glasses as well. He added Linic left the scene of the accident with a bloody head and that the attackers were prevented from injuring him with an ashtray.
