ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The consumer goods basket of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) shows that the minimum living costs of a four-member family in October totalled 5,160 kuna (approx. EUR682), an increase
of only one kuna compared to September.

minimum living costs of a four-member family in October totalled
5,160 kuna (approx. EUR682), an increase of only one kuna compared

Food accounted for the largest part of the costs - 34.8 percent or
1,798 kuna.
Accommodation accounted for 28.8 percent of the average salary,
education and entertainment for 12.5 percent, and clothing for 10.3
percent.
The average net salary in September totalled 3,777 kuna (approx.
EUR499), covering only 73 percent of the living costs.
