The 41-year-old Rozic was acquitted by the Zagreb County Court,
which ruled that the prosecution had not proved that Rozic was
responsible for 14 blasts in houses, yards, barns, and fields owned
by Serb returnees.
Presiding judge Miroslav Sovanj said there had been indications as
to possible guilt but that they had not been sufficient for a
conviction.
Rozic has been in custody in Zagreb since early May. Prior to that,
he was detained for two-and-a-half years in Rijeka for the course of
the Gospic Group war crimes trial, at which he was also acquitted.
