The government public relations office said that Racan had
undergone a regular heart examination and that the results were
brilliant.
The prime minister experienced stress, overfatigue and exhaustion,
the PR office said.
The head of the "Magdalena" hospital, Ivan Drpic, declined to give
any details of Racan's stay in the hospital, saying that such
information could only be given to his family.
The SDP said their leader would attend the presentation of the
party's electoral programme and lists of candidates at the SDP
