Croatia's Chief State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic said that given their
special responsibility in the society, state prosecutors must have
a Code of Ethics defining the rules of conduct of state
prosecutors.
Also taking part in the meeting were experts from the United States
and the Netherlands. James Duncan from the office for professional
responsibility in the U.S. Justice Department and Antonie Cornelis
van der Schans, a state prosecutor from the Dutch national court of
appeals, presented the application of ethic rules in the conduct of
state prosecutors in the two countries.
