ZAGREB, Oct 29 (Hina) - Political parties must in no way interfere in editorial polices of the media, and journalists must take care only about professional criteria, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said on Wednesday after receiving
the acting director of Croatian Radio and Television (HRT), Mirko Galic.

Mesic also received the editor-in-chief and the director of the
Glas Istre daily, Eni Ambrozic and Zeljko Zmak respectively, on the
occasion of the 60th anniversary of that local daily. Celebrations
marking the anniversary have been held under Mesic's auspices, the
Office of the President stated.
