decree is implemented.

At a closed-door session the government took a firm position to
continue with the implementation of the decree on incorporating the
Polytechnic into Split University, saying the latest events had
additionally confirmed the need to protect the interests of
students and the system of higher education.
Government members were unanimous that Split Polytechnic did not
function in keeping with the law and relevant regulations.
