The head of the company's office in Zagreb, Natko Gabrilo, said 50-
seat Canadian Regional jets will link the two cities, with
connections from Budapest to other European countries, the Middle
East, and North America.
The Split-Budapest line will operate four times a week (Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays), with planes taking off from
Budapest at 1320 hours and returning from Split to Budapest at 1510
hours. The flight lasts 70 minutes.
More than 12,000 passengers, mostly from Hungary, Scandinavia,
Canada, Great Britain and France, arrived in Split aboard Malev
planes this summer.
