ZAGREB, Oct 23 (Hina) - The HP informatics company has launched a joint initiative with UNESCO aimed at improving the conditions of scientific research in Southeast Europe. The initiative will provide four regional universities with
the grid computing technology.

joint initiative with UNESCO aimed at improving the conditions of

The project will be realised over two years, helping the
universities of Split, Sarajevo, Belgrade, and Podgorica
participate in tenders for research projects funded by the public
and private sectors.
The UNESCO-HP project will analyse solutions for reducing brain
drain in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Serbia-Montenegro, and
constitutes a response to the need of quick action and help in the
reconstruction of the region's formerly war-struck countries.
