The official of the international court which arbitrates in
disputes between countries, arrived in Slovenia at the invitation
of Law School in Ljubljana.
Tjaco van den Hout was quoted by Slovene Radio as saying that he
would not speculate whether Slovenia and Croatia would resort to
arbitration for their border dispute. He added that the two
countries being the court's members could opt for arbitration, as
the issue was of great importance for bilateral relations and a
broader international context.
