The purpose of the manoeuvre, which was held from 20 to 24 October,
was training at sea with emphasis on inter-operability,
cooperation and exchange of information and search for suspicious
vessels.
Military envoys of the United States and Russia, Lieutenant
Commander Robert Allan and Captain Konstantin Virchenko
respectively, who observed the exercise, described it as very
successful, and praised the commanders and all participants for
their performance.
