The leadership of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) opposed the
bill, which resulted in the fall of the Serbian government of prime
minister Dragutin Zelenovic, the witness said.
In 1991, Gajic-Glisic was chief of staff in the office of Serbia's
defence minister, General Tomislav Simovic.
During the cross-examination, Milosevic claimed that the Serbian
authorities at the time advocated the preservation of Yugoslavia
and the JNA.
