HELSINKI, Oct 22 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic arrived in Helsinki on Wednesday morning for a day long working visit to Finland where he is to hold talks with top Finnish officials on further strengthening of ties between
the two countries.

This morning, Mesic is scheduled to hold talks with his Finnish
counterpart Tarja Halonen. Later today, the Croatian president
will meet the president of Finland's parliament, Paavo Lipponen,
and new Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen.
