Izetbegovic died due to complications resulting from treatment he
was receiving after breaking four ribs during a fall in September,
according to reports from state radio and several commercial TV
stations.
The president of the Party of Democratic Action suffered from
serious heart trouble for years and the fall only aggravated his
condition.
