ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - The Ampelographical Atlas by Nikola Mirosevic and Zdenko Turkovic has been published by Golden Marketing and Tehnicka Knjiga and will be presented at the book fair in Frankfurt. The 375 page atlas is one of the
most important books on Croatia's viticulture and wine industry.

Mirosevic and Zdenko Turkovic has been published by Golden
Marketing and Tehnicka Knjiga and will be presented at the book fair
in Frankfurt. The 375 page atlas is one of the most important books

Ampelography is the study and classification of grape varieties.
The book also includes the 1953 and 1962 reprints of Turkovic's
Ampelographical Atlas.
Zdenko Turkovic (1892-1968) laid a foundation for contemporary
viticulture. He published several important books on viticulture
and about 120 scientific papers. Turkovic received France's
"Diplome O'Honneur de L'Office International de la Vigne et du Vin"
award for the first volume of his Ampelographical Atlas from 1957.
