The consortium consists of German companies Debis International
Trading and Daimler Chrysler AG and Austria's Rosenbauer
International AG. The Croatian company IM-Metal d.o.o. from Ozalj
has joined the consortium as an equal partner.
On behalf of Croatia, the contract was signed by Interior Minister
Sime Lucin, with Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac and Economy
Ministry Ljubo Jurcic as co-signatories.
Jurcic said the project was important also because of the fact that
a Croatian company had joined a group of renowned international
producers as an equal partner.
IM-Metal has made it possible for a number of Croatian companies to
become sub-contractors in the project of production of components
for firefighting vehicles.
