The ministry has said earlier that Slovenia supports the views of
the European Commission and officials from the European Union and
Italy that any activity aimed at protecting the Adriatic should be
undertaken gradually in coordination and consultation with all
interested states, the Slovene press agency STA reported.
The Slovene Foreign Ministry also said it would not support any
decisions or solutions that were not adopted in the spirit of
dialogue, through negotiations and with the consent of all
countries concerned, particularly those in the Adriatic, because
such decisions might prejudice delimitation of borders on the sea,
the STA reported.
