ZAGREB, Sept 30 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic, who is on a visit to Turkey, on Tuesday attended the 6th international fair of defence industry, air forces and navy "IDEF Turkey 2003",
which is being held in Ankara, the Croatian defence ministry stated.

Minister Zeljka Antunovic, who is on a visit to Turkey, on Tuesday
attended the 6th international fair of defence industry, air forces
and navy "IDEF Turkey 2003", which is being held in Ankara, the
Croatian defence ministry stated. #L#
The show, which is being attended by a dozen Croatian companies, was
opened by Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, who started a tour
of the exhibition with Minister Antunovic and Turkish Defence
Minister Vecdi Gonul at the Croatian pavilion. The ministers viewed
the Croatian-made "Degman" tank, which saw its first presentation
at the Ankara fair.
At the Croatian pavilion, Antunovic met the defence ministers of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro and Belarus.
Albanian Defence Minister Pandeli Majko showed interest in the
modernisation of ships in Croatian shipyards and helmets produced
by the Sestan Busch factory from Prelog.
Serbia and Montenegro's Defence Minister Boris Tadic told
reporters that cooperation with Croatia in the production of
weapons and military equipment was possible.
He voiced satisfaction with the meeting with Antunovic, adding that
the "Degman" tank was the best proof of the Croatian military
industry's potential in the production of complex combat systems.
