The visit will focus on ratification of the Stabilisation and
Association Agreement between Croatia and the European Union,
which Britain has delayed because of relations between Zagreb and
the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
The Croatian prime minister will begin the working part of his visit
on Monday with talks with London City Mayor Gavyn Arthur Alderman
and British business people.
Officials in London have said that Britain is interested in
investing in Croatia, citing the Dalmacijacement company as a good
example.
On Monday afternoon, Racan is due to deliver a speech entitled
"Croatia on the threshold of membership in the European Union" at
Chatham House, Britain's leading political forum.
On Tuesday, Racan is scheduled to attend a Labour Party conference
in Bournemouth, where he will talk to top British officials.
