MOSTAR/NEUM, Sept 26 (Hina) - The US Sixth Fleet frigate "Nicholas" entered Bosnia-Herzegovina's waters on Friday, which is the first time a US ship has visited the country.

The ship will stay in the bay of Neum for four days. The crew,
including 18 officers and 198 sailors, were greeted by Assistant
Foreign Minister Ibrahim Djikic and Neum Mayor Djuro Obradovic.
The US Embassy in Bosnia-Herzegovina welcomed the ship's visit as a
symbol of continued cooperation of the United States with Bosnia-
Herzegovina on its path to full membership in Euro-Atlantic
institutions.
