Lessons for second-graders will be organised in two classes. One
class will consist of nine students, and the other of four,
including little Ela.
Teachers will be assisted by volunteer teachers and a psychologist
will be made available. Education about AIDS will be conducted
systematically in all of Kutina's pre-school institutions and
schools.
Other students, who currently attend other schools in Kutina, will
be allowed to enrol in these schools on Monday, or return to the
"Stjepan Kefelja" school if they wish, at any time during this or
following school years.
Premier Ivica Racan was advised of this decision by education and
health ministers Vladimir Strugar and Andro Vlahusic, as well as by
experts who are part of a task force set up by the ministries of
education, health and social welfare.
They have assessed that progress has been made with regard to Ela's
enrolment at the school and that further progress can be expected
with regard to her stay and education in Kutina.
