THE HAGUE, Sept 25 (Hina) - A meeting between a Croatian delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic, and ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte which is focused on Croatia's cooperation with the UN war crimes tribunal ahead
of Del Ponte's October report to the UN Security Council, started in The Hague on Thursday.
THE HAGUE, Sept 25 (Hina) - A meeting between a Croatian delegation,
led by Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic, and ICTY Chief
Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte which is focused on Croatia's
cooperation with the UN war crimes tribunal ahead of Del Ponte's
October report to the UN Security Council, started in The Hague on
Thursday. #L#
Croatia has already forwarded a report to the ICTY on the
cooperation so far, particularly focusing on the issue of handing
over documents and measures taken in the Gotovina case.
The Croatian delegation will give additional explanation of the
government's report.
Apart from Granic, the meeting is also attended by Justice Minister
Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic, State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic,
representative of the office for cooperation with the ICTY, Jaksa
Muljacic, government's legal representative in the Gotovina case
Goran Mikulicic and Croatian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Frane
Krnic.
Granic and Del Ponte are expected to address the press after the
meeting.
