HR-BULLETINS-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 5055 HINA Zagreb 24 August 2003NATIONAL CENTRE REPORTS ON BUSHFIRESDIVULJE, Aug 24 (Hina) - Reporting on bushfires on Sunday evening, the National Firefighting Centre said that a fire which broke out on Saturday afternoon in the area of Velika Duba and spread to the area of Zivogosce - Blato and the Dole camp at Zivogosce near Makarska was contained. Most tourists have returned to the camp after temporary evacuation. The fire, which consumed over 40 hectares of pine forest and underbrush, was fought by some 200 firefighters, who were assisted by three firefighting planes and two air tractors. A fire which broke out near Licki Osik in Lika-Senj County on August 14 has been contained but continues to be active in a mine-infested area.
