VIENNA, Sept 18 (Hina) - Croatia has confirmed and strengthened its position in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and it is granted an opportunity for even more intensive cooperation, Croatian Deputy Science and Technology
Minister Zdenko Franic said in Vienna on Thursday, at a session of the IAEA main conference.
VIENNA, Sept 18 (Hina) - Croatia has confirmed and strengthened its
position in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and it is
granted an opportunity for even more intensive cooperation,
Croatian Deputy Science and Technology Minister Zdenko Franic said
in Vienna on Thursday, at a session of the IAEA main conference.

He said that the meeting, being held in Vienna on Sept 15-19, was
very significant and that it created new possibilities for Croatia
to advance its cooperation with the IAEA.
Croatia has intensified its cooperation with the IAEA through
several projects worth some US$1.4 million, which include the
peaceful use of nuclear techniques in science, power supply sector,
medicine and demining.
