VIENNA, Sept 16 (Hina) - In the next two years Croatia will
implement six infrastructure projects worth some US$1.4 million in
cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),
Deputy Science and Technology Minister Zdenko Franic said at a
plenary session of the IAEA conference in Vienna on Tuesday. #L#
Those projects refer to medicine, education, the prevention of
smuggling and transport of illegal radioactive nuclear substances,
and the use of nuclear techniques in demining, Franic said.
Croatia joined the international organisation in 1993, the deputy
minister said.
